Albert F. Lamb, 88, of Deputy, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Scott Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 25, 1926 in Paint Lick, Kentucky, the son of the late James Allen and Cordelia (Miller) Lamb. Albert was retired from Morgan Foods in Austin, Indiana, where he worked for 27 years, was a U.S. Army veteran of W.W. II and was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Deputy, Indiana, and had served as trustee. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Derek Lamb; five brothers, Jake, Carl, Price, Russell and James Lamb; four sisters, Hallie Bryant, Evelyne Mobley, Fannie Claire and Emma Mack. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Ruth (Beard) Lamb; a son, Louis Lamb and his wife Connie of Deputy, Indiana; a daughter, Donna Collins and her husband Elson of Deputy, Indiana; three grandchildren, Chasity Teltow, Shawn Collins (Shelly) and Jason Collins (Terry); eight great grandchildren, Kyle, Cierra, Matthew, Samantha, Kimberly, Jordan, Jonah and Dakota; three step great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Breann and Cameron; one great great granddaughter, Aubrie and two step great great grandchildren, Colby and Raylen.   Memorial Contributions: Bethany Baptist Church c/o Collins Funeral Home. Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Thursday and after 9 am Friday.

Funeral Service: 11:00 am Friday, Sept. 19, 2014 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with
burial in Bethany Baptist Cemetery.

Albert and Ruth have been a part of our lives forever. Albert and my Dad were the best of friends. Our hearts and prayers are full of love for Ruth. We are so sorry we could not be there for you at this devastating time. God Bless and Keep you Ruth in His care.
