Albert M. Clegg, 87, of Nabb, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014 at his residence. He was born on
June 6, 1926 in Scott County, Indiana, the son of the late Carl Clegg Sr. and Ella (Zollman) Clegg. Albert graduated from Lexington High School in 1944 and later was married on June 16, 1951 to Edith M. Robbins. He was a retired supervisor over the Repo Graphics Branch of the U. S. Army Corp. of Engineers in Louisville, Kentucky and also a former employee of the old Quarter Master Depot in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Albert was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II, serving in the Philippines, a former member and officer of the old Rainbow Strollers Square Dance Club and an avid gardener. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Frieda Close and Frances Stoffregen and a brother Junior Clegg. Survivors include his wife, Edith M. Clegg; two sons, Marty A. Clegg and his wife Brenda and Garry L. Clegg all of Nabb, Indiana; two sisters, Rose Wininger of Henryville, Indiana and Betty Barnard of Scottsburg, Indiana; two brothers, Herman Clegg of Mesa, Arizona and Dale Clegg of Columbus, Indiana; four grandsons, Barry, Mark, Brad and Derek Clegg and three great grandsons, Keenan, Joshua and Simon Albert Clegg and a grand puppy and companion, Chloe.
