Barbara A. Perkins-Prince

Barbara A. Perkins-Prince, 78, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana.  She was born in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Emil  Lausman and Elizabeth (Lotze) Lausman-Brown.  Barb was a retired manager at Stop In Liquors in Crothersville, Indiana and formerly worked at the Sears Store in Clarksville, Indiana and was a hostess at the old Ramada Inn in Scottsburg, Indiana.  She was a member of the New Chapel United Methodist Church in Underwood, Indiana, the Ladies Auxiliary at the American Legion Post # 234 in Scottsburg, Indiana and the Crothersville VFW Post # 1083.  Barb enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and crocheting for others.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Kidwell; a stepson, Greg Prince; a brother, Sonny Lausman; a sister, Linda Ellnor; a great grandson, Nicholas Prince and a son-in-law, Alan Brown.  Survivors include her husband, Ivan Prince; three daughters, Joan Brown of Rockport, Texas, Karen Sample (Frank) of Ft. Myers, Florida and Tish Richey (Randy) of Scottsburg, Indiana; two sons, Bobby Biesel (Donna) of Clarksville, Indiana and Richard Biesel (Michelle) of Jeffersonville, Indiana;  a son-in-law, Donnie Kidwell of Clarksville, Indiana; three stepdaughters, Teresa Cissell (Roger) and Marsha Davis all of Scottsburg, Indiana and Angela Slayton (Larry) of Louisville, Kentucky; three sisters, Pat Oltman and Carol Pruett (Carl) all of Clarksville, Indiana and Bonnie Stevens (Donnie) of Louisville, Kentucky; 22 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Funeral Service:
2:00 pm Sunday at Collins Funeral Home with burial in Scottsburg Cemetery.
Visitation:
11 am to 2 pm Saturday at Memphis Christian Church, 13503 Memphis-Blue Lick Rd., Memphis, IN 47143 and noon to 2 pm Sunday at Collins Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions:

 I live next door to the Princes, but can't get out and did not realize Barabara was ill and has passed away. She was a lovely neighbor and I really enjoyed sitting on the deck and chatting with her. She will be missed.
