Betty Jean Gullion, 69, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Glasgow, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Rhyman Melton and Dorothy (Neal) Evans. Betty graduated in 1964 from Temple Hill High School in Glasgow, Kentucky and enjoyed genealogy.  She was a homemaker and a former employee of the Waffle House Restaurant, working at many different locations.  Betty was preceded in death by a grandchild, Jeanie Anderson; one brother, Marvin Melton and three sisters, Patricia Melton, Shirley Sayre and Carolyn Melton. Survivors include her husband, Donald D. Gullion; three sons, Larry Thurston (Amanda) of New Castle, Indiana, Scott Gullion (Joanna) of Henryville, Indiana and Wayne Gullion (Kim) of Zionsville, Indiana;  four daughters, Sandy Moore and Barbara Stevens (Tom) all of Henryville, Indiana, Beverly Garvin (Bill) of Lanesville, Indiana and Tammy Mace (Kevin) of Scottsburg, Indiana;  a brother, Bill Melton (Anna) of Fairfax, Virginia; a sister, Lois Melton of Jackson, Mississippi; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
