Carole June Dotson, 72, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on July 23, 1946 in Williamson, West Virginia, the daughter of the late William Anderson Dotson and Rosalie (King) Dotson. Carole retired from Genesis Plastics in Scottsburg, Indiana, where she had worked for 15 years. In addition, she had worked previously for the Matel Corporation in Murray, Kentucky for many years as a supervisor. Carole enjoyed gardening, working with her flowers, cooking and going to the casino boat. She especially loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Carole was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Dotson and William Anderson Dotson, II. Survivors include her son Tommy Dotson and his wife Tammy of Lexington, Indiana; two brothers, Harold Dotson of Paris, Tennessee and Larry Dotson and his wife Linda Carol of Russell Springs, Kentucky; a sister, Virginia “Ginny” Gilbert of Paris, Tennessee and three grandchildren, Courtney, Tyler and Hailey Dotson of Lexington, Indiana.
