Claude Gay, Jr., 59, of Salem, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at his residence. He was born on February 21, 1957 in Gays Creek, Kentucky, the son of the late Claude Gay Sr. and Ida Mae (Spicer) Gay. Claude was a former employee of PNP Trucking in Scottsburg, Indiana and also Tallent Lumber in Henryville, Indiana. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Danny and Wade Riley and Glen Gay. Survivors include two sons, Andrew Gay (Amanda) of Salem, Indiana and Tyler Gay of Fredericksburg, Indiana; a daughter, Erin Gay of Fredericksburg, Indiana; a sister, Jeanette Rasnick of Lexington, Indiana; three brothers, Donald Gay (Debbie) and Jimmie Gay all of Scottsburg, Indiana and Tommy Franklin of Little York, Indiana; four half brothers, Otis Riley of Crothersville, Indiana, Ed Riley (Christine) and E.J. Riley (Laurie) all of Austin, Indiana and Arnold Riley (Jean) of Butlerville, Indiana; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
