As I read about my friend I told Mike I am not surprised about his final wishes. He was such a humble man and would not want all the fuss. We have had many good talks as I waited for my grandson at Hyland. He had to stop and pull pieces of candy from his pocket for his kids. I can tell you he was one of my best friends in high school. We weren't the in-crowd but that was okay with us. We had been talking about going to our 50th and I may have had him talked into it but probably not. lol Not really our thing after all. We also talked about our dads who were great friends. We also talked about our families. He was so proud of his girls and that they became teachers. He loved you Dee Dee and wondered why you put up with him. I will miss my humble, loving friend. I pray that God gives you peace, as you face the coming days and that God wraps you in His loving arms. I know without a doubt that Danny is in the arms of Jesus.
