Daryle G. Broady, 58, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on June 23, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of Thomas Eugene Broady and Bonnie S. (Everitt) Wagner. Daryle retired in 2016 as a correctional officer for the Indiana Department of Corrections in Henryville, Indiana, where he worked for 27 years. He had attended the Kimberlin Creek Baptist Church, was a U.S. Marine Corp and U.S. Navy veteran, was a former member of the Lexington Township Volunteer Fire Department and enjoyed fishing and shooting his guns. Daryle was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Eugene Broady. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Debra S. (Peavler) Broady; two sons, Thomas William Broady of Scottsburg, Indiana and Brandon Peavler and his wife Jennifer of Crothersville, Indiana; a daughter, Melanie L. Fitzpatrick and her husband Paul of Scottsburg, Indiana; his mother, Bonnie S. Wagner of Scottsburg, Indiana and four grandchildren, Jayden and Zander Fitzpatrick and Jared and Chance Peavler. Funeral Service: 11:00 am Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Collins Funeral Home with burial in Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Leota, Indiana.

Visitation:
4 to 8 pm Monday and after 10 am Tuesday at Collins Funeral Home.
Memorial Contributions: Scott County Relay for Life c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.

I was very sorry to hear of Daryle's passing. I worked with him at Henryville for many years and had a close relationship. We shared a lot of laughs together and we really had a lot of fun. I will miss Daryle.
