David W. Goodin, 54, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. He was born on September 7, 1961 in Loveland, Ohio, the son of the late Charles P. Goodin and Carolyn H. (Shearer) Goodin. David graduated from Scottsburg High School in 1979. He was a foreman/operator for Teltec, Inc. in Corbin, Kentucky, where he worked at several military bases installing fiber-optic cable and the last 15 years mostly at Ft. Knox. He was a member of the Green Street Chapel in Scottsburg, Indiana, was an avid fisherman and enjoyed woodworking. Survivors include his wife, Rhonda K. (Reynolds) Goodin; two sons, Timothy Goodin (Amber) of Maricopa, Arizona and David Reynolds of Lexington, Indiana; two daughters, Amanda Goodin of Port Huron, Michigan and Danielle Imel (Kyle) of Hanover, Indiana; a brother, Dallas W. Goodin of Austin, Indiana; two sisters, Loretta Kendall (Gary) of Austin, Indiana and Rhonda Cantrell of Anderson, Indiana and five grandchildren, Brenden, Addy, Liam, Madison and Hayden.

Funeral Service: 11:00 am Monday, July 25, 2016 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Rev. Raymond Rosebrock officiating. Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Sunday and after 9 am Monday. Interment will be in Lexington Cemetery.
