Don R. Hammond, 50, of Campbellsburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. He was born on December 25, 1965 in Lebanon, Illinois, the son of the late Don R. Hammond Sr. and JoAnn (Johnson) Bane. Don was a former construction worker for Ground-Up Builders in Georgia. He was preceded in death by his stepfather who raised him, Gene Bane; a brother, Paul Hammond; two step brothers, Jessie Lee and Eddie Bane and a stepsister, Brenda Brewer. Survivors include his mother, JoAnn Bane of Campbellsburg, Indiana; a brother, Chris Hammond of Campbellsburg, Indiana; a sister, Anita Triplett of Florida; a stepbrother, Terry Bane of Campbellsburg, Indiana; two stepsisters, Geraldine Albertson of Scottsburg, Indiana and Shirley Kemp of Salem, Indiana and three nieces and nephews.
