Donna Lea Wimberg Rowe, lovingly known as Momma, 69 of Scottsburg Indiana, left us to be with God on Sunday October 14, 2018 at Hillcrest Nursing/Rehab Facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was the oak tree of our family, the one that would support you no matter what, Our heart, Our Light, Our Life. She will be greatly missed. There wasn’t a person that Momma didn’t love, she always put others before herself and she never met a stranger. Her hobbies included listening to Willie Nelson, Crocheting, playing World of Warcraft on her computer, and listening to Father Corapi. She was strong in her Faith and a member of the American Martyrs Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her Grandma Wimberg, whom she treasured daily; her father and hero, Robert Joseph; her mother, Mildred Delores; her Grandma Rosie; her husband, Tommy Rowe; a daughter, Katrina Marie Butcher; her nephew, Brandon; her niece, Elizabeth; her son in law, Tim Devine and many more loved ones whom have left us to be with God. Momma is survived by her son, Anthony Rowe and his wife Katherine and a daughter Melissa Rowe all of Scottsburg Indiana; son in law, Andrew Butcher of Louisville, Kentucky; two brothers, Robert Wimberg and his wife Becky of Louisville, Kentucky and William Wimberg and his wife Laura of Greenville, Indiana; a sister, Susan Rissman and her husband Aaron of Louisville Kentucky; many nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as many more children she has “adopted” over the years all over the world.

Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. A Memorial Mass of Christian Rites will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the American Martyrs Catholic Church, 270 S. Bond St., Scottsburg, Indiana 47170.
