Ed Shepherd, 63, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at his residence. He was born on October 12, 1950 in New Albany, Indiana, the son of the late Alex and Hazel (Colwell) Shepherd. Ed was married on March 20, 1976 to Carol McCurry. He was a retired supervisor for United Electric Company in Louisville, Kentucky, had also been a plant supervisor at Midwest Environmental in Charlestown, Indiana and attended Branham Tabernacle in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Survivors include his wife, Carol Shepherd; two sons, Philip Shepherd (Tammy) of Scottsburg, Indiana and Paul Shepherd (Michelle) of Englewood, Florida; two brothers, John Shepherd of Underwood, Indiana and Alex Shepherd, Jr. (Virginia) of Jeffersonville, Indiana; two sisters, Joyce Farley (Bob) and Dora Miles (Ronnie) all of Jeffersonville, Indiana; five grandchildren, Ashley Cruz (Josh), Alex, Nathan, Paul, Jr. and Harrison Shepherd and a great granddaughter, Lorelei Cruz.
