Emma Bowling Helton, 93 of Phoenix, Arizona, formerly of Austin, Indiana, died on May 26, 2014. She was born on July 20, 1920 in Perry County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Ed and Rebecca Jane (Hacker) Bowling. Emma was a former employee of the old Smith Cabinet Factory in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert, Elijah, Shafter and Joe Bowling and six sisters, Lola Rice, Louise Ingram, Rita Bowling, Macy Helton, Evelyn Hollan and Chloe Callahan. Survivors include three sons, J.C. Helton of Phoenix, Arizona, Jimmy Helton of Scottsdale, Arizona and Eugene Helton of Knoxville, Tennessee; a brother, Wilton Bowling of Batavia, Ohio; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Cremation was chosen. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the Helton Family Cemetery. Arrangements by Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
