Feildon L. “Felix” Peacock

Feildon L. “Felix” Peacock, 77, of Salem, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018 at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born on June 27, 1940 in Scott County, Indiana, the son of the late Herman Floyd and Emma Olive (Cass) Peacock. He was married on April 28, 1960 to Mary N. Woodall. Felix was a retired independent truck driver and also a former paint foreman at Jeff Boat in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and loved to golf in his spare time. Felix was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Needler and Beulah Fredricks and three brothers, Emery Cass, Floyd and Freddie Peacock. Survivors include his wife, Mary N. Peacock; four sons, Randall Peacock and wife Shannon of Tampa, Florida, Eric Peacock and wife Sherry of Sellersburg, Indiana, Anthony “Tony” Peacock and wife Lori of Memphis, Indiana and Kevin Peacock of Salem, Indiana; two daughters, Felicia Hampton and husband Scott of Salem, Indiana and Roxanna Brown and husband David of Louisville, Kentucky; a brother, Farris Peacock and wife Evelyn of Salem, Indiana; four sisters, Bonnie Taylor of Austin, Indiana, Belva Gardner of Salem, Indiana, Brenda Geividen of Scottsburg, Indiana and Bernice Mauck and husband Dale of Salem, Indiana; 22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Collins Family Center in Scottsburg, Indiana.
