Gordon L. Moore, 67, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017 at his residence. He was born on February 12, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of the late Albert L. “Hap” Moore, Jr. and Inez E. (Paul) Moore. Gordon was a retired employee of the old Moore’s Concrete Company in Scottsburg, Indiana and a member of the Baptist Faith. He was a U.S. Army veteran stationed in Korea as a Medic and loved to play guitar and sing. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Doris M. Moore. Survivors include three brothers, Gerald “Archie” Moore and Marvin (Darlene) Moore all of Scottsburg, Indiana and Willard Moore of Greenwood, Indiana; five sisters, Florence “Bootsie” Royalty of Crothersville, Indiana, Hazel Lesnet, Alberta Moore and Nellie Moore all of Scottsburg, Indiana and Sabrena Moore of Lexington, Indiana; several generations of nieces and nephews and special friend, Lorna Webster. Cremation was entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Graveside Service: 12:00 Noon on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Cana Cemetery in Uniontown, Indiana.
