Guadalupe “Pete” Brunner

Guadalupe “Pete” Brunner, 74, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on November 29, 1943 in Pharr, Texas, the daughter of the late Daniel Romero and Trinidad M. (Martinez) Romero. Lupe was a retired employee of Multicolor and also had worked at the old Freudenberg NOK both in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was a life member of the Scott County VFW Post # 6582 Ladies Auxiliary and attended the First Christian Church in Scottsburg, Indiana. Lupe always enjoyed making things and doing craftis. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Thomas E. Brunner; three daughters, Terrena Cobb of Lexington, Indiana, Terresa Sadler of New Albany, Indiana and Terreva Zipp of Sellersburg, Indiana; a son, Tommy Brunner of Scottsburg, Indiana; four brothers, Armando Romero of Deputy, Indiana, Ricardo Romero of Lexington, Indiana, Rene Romero of Sellersburg, Indiana and Rosendo Romero of North Vernon, Indiana; five sisters, Ramona Barger and Soledad Barclay both of Austin, Indiana, Janie Clouse and Rita Fields both of Scottsburg, Indiana and Rosie Romero of Madison, Indiana; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions: Scott County Relay for Life c/o Collins Funeral Home, 465 W. McClain Ave., Scottsburg, IN 47170. Memorial Service: 7:00 pm on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Collins Funeral Home with George Ross officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 pm on Friday.

I didn't know Guadalupe very long, she was a very bright and cheerful lady always smiling when I seen her, I will miss seeing her . Treva you are so lucky to have such a caring mother and a super grandmother to the boys, she will always be with you and the boys.
