Harrison T. Bowling, 77, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Scott Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 3, 1940 in Perry County, Kentucky, the son of the late Edmond and Nancy Bowling. He was married on June 11, 1958 to Sadie L. Deaton. Harrison was a retired employee of Cummins Engine Company in Columbus, Indiana, where he worked for 35 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. Harrison also served his country for 12 years in the Indiana Army Reserves. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ruth Petersen and several infant siblings. Survivors include his wife, Sadie L. Bowling; two sons, Donald R. Bowling of Scipio, Indiana and Tracy L. Bowling and his wife Cindy of Scottsburg, Indiana; four daughters, Joyce Zuckschwerdt and her husband Chester and Sandy Hall and her husband Jeff all of Austin, Indiana, Marcy Fryfogle and her husband Russ and Carey Beswick-Nicholson and her husband Derek all of Scottsburg, Indiana; a brother, Charlie Bowling and his wife Dorothy of Scottsburg, Indiana; a sister, Louella Sims of Scottsburg, Indiana; 19 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
