Harvey F. Napier, Sr., 90, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was born on April 13, 1927 in Manchester, Kentucky, the son of the late John A. Napier and Hannah (Ball) Napier. Harvey was  married on Dec. 19, 1964 to Faye (Garrison) Napier. He retired in 1987 as a machinist for the Smithsonian Air Space Museum in Washington D.C. Prior to working at the museum, he worked at the U.S. Navy Yard also in Washington, D.C. Harvey was a U.S. Air Force veteran of WW II and enjoyed hunting and raising his garden. He was preceded in death by a son, John A. Napier; a brother, Bill and two sisters, Sue and Goldie. Survivors include his wife, Faye (Garrison) Napier; a son, Harvey F. Napier, Jr. of Scottsburg, Indiana; one niece and two nephews.
