Mike, Teresa, Steve, Faye, Deloros and families, Jim and I will miss not running into Hershell and talking to him. My fondest memories are of him and Nick at the Scottsburg United Methodist Church. They were the best ushers any church could ask for and they always made us McDaniel girls laugh, especially Hershell. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Jewell's passing. My dad (Norman Sullivan) and I spent a lot of hours at the dirt races talking with Mr. Jewell and watching Mike race. He always greeted us with a smile and a hand shake and was one of the best people to be around at the races. I'll never forget him grilling in the pits, keeping an eye on Mike and his crew (especially Olan) and smiling after some of Mike's many wins and saying "He had 'er archin' didn't he?" Mr. Jewell was genuinely a great man to be around. The entire Jewell family is in our thoughts and prayers. Mike Sullivan

Please accept my condolences. It is so hard when we lose someone we love to death. Although it seems to be final, God's word offers hope of seeing our loved ones again. John 6:40 states, "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day." Cherish your most precious memories and know that your heavenly Father truly cares about you and offers the perfect solution.

My sincere sympathy to each of you for your loss. Psalms 90:10 says that the usual life span is 70 or 80 years. When man was created, it was God's purpose that he would live forever. Romans 5:12 explains why death and sickness occurs. His purpose has not changed. He assures us that he will restore life to all who are in his memory right here on earth under the best of conditions. Revelation 21:3-5 John 5:28,29 Psalms 37:29
