Irma J. Hobbs, 84, of Scottsburg, Indiana, died on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on January 17, 1930 in Danville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Nicholas Albert and Geneva (Brisben) Kretzer.  Irma was married on August 25, 1969 to  Doyle W. Hobbs.  She was a former employee of the old Charlestown Ammunition Plant in Charlestown, Indiana, a member of the Vienna Baptist Church and a resident of Washington County since 1969.  Irma was preceded in death by a sister and brother, Alice Hyder and George Hyder.  Survivors include her husband, Doyle Hobbs; two sons, Michael L. Hobbs of Scottsburg and Nicholas A. Harp of Louisville, Kentucky; two daughters, Ann Marie Simon and Candy L. Baldwin both of Scottsburg; three stepdaughters, Gail Bartle and Stacy Tucker both of Port St. Lucia, Florida and Teresa Brewer of Salem, Indiana; 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.   Memorial Contributions: Vienna Baptist Church c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.  Online condolences: www.collinsfuneralhome.net. Irma was an amazing woman who touched many of our hearts at Scott Villa. Her smile and laughter were contagious and she was such a sweet woman. I will miss her as she always had a smile for me when I would walk her to the dining room. RIP Ms. Irma
