Jack D. Rogers,86, of Underwood, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Scott Memorial Hospital. He was born on August 20, 1930 in Milltown, Indiana, the son of the late Charles Everett and Eunice O. (Underhill) Rogers. Jack was a retired Claims Adjuster for State Farm Insurance in Lafayette, Indiana, where he worked from1978 to 1993 and also was a former body shop manager at Jim O’Neal Ford in Sellersburg, Indiana. He was a member of the Fairview Christian Church and New Albany Masonic Lodge # 39. Jack loved gardening and working at Pop’s Plants. He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Rogers; a son, Don Rogers; two sisters, Betty Gillespie and Beatrice Creech and a brother, Robert Rogers. Survivors include a son: Ed Rogers and his wife Donna of Scottsburg, Indiana; a daughter, Janice Belviy and her husband Robert of Scottsburg, Indiana; a daughter-in-law, Zel Rogers of Indianapolis, Indiana; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren and his beloved dog, Bruiser. Memorial Contributions: Amedysis Hospice c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.

Funeral Service:
11:00 am Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Fairview Christian Church.
Visitation:
4 to 8 pm Tuesday at Collins Funeral Home and after 9 am Wednesday at his church. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
