Jamie D. Brown, 54, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016 in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on May 3, 1962 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of James William and Jenny (Murphy) Brown. She was an employee of the Indiana Bottling Company in Scottsburg, Indiana for about 5 years and also a custodian for the Scottsburg Middle School for about 3 years. Jamie lived all of her life in Scott County, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jenny Brown and a sister-in-law, Jesycka Brown. Survivors include a son, Jesse William Carson of Scottsburg, Indiana; Fiancé, Larry Combs of Scottsburg, Indiana; her father, James William Brown of Scottsburg, Indiana; two brothers, Jim W.(Sandra) Brown and Jay W. Brown both of Scottsburg, Indiana; a sister, Janice (Rudy) Starnes of Verona, Kentucky; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Collins Funeral Home with Rick Richardson, officiating. Visitation: 11 am to 1 pm Tuesday at Collins Funeral Home. Interment will be in Scottsburg Cemetery.
