Jason Todd Cissell, 42, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on March 11, 1975 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of Roger and Teresa (Prince) Cissell. Jason graduated from Scottsburg High School and was a former machinist for several area machine shops in the area including Impact Forge and NTN before his illness. He was a member and former Regional Director of ABATE. Jason enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing and all kinds of music. Survivors include his companion, Chandra Law of Scottsburg, Indiana; a son, Michael Cissell of Scottsburg, Indiana; a daughter, Sierra P. Cissell of New Albany, Indiana; his parents, Roger and Teresa Cissell of Scottsburg, Indiana; three stepchildren, Gabe, Liberty and Addyson Law all of Scottsburg, Indiana; a brother, Ryan Cissell and his wife Mandy of Scottsburg, Indiana; two sisters, Lisa Dossett of Scottsburg, Indiana and Shannon Griffin and her husband Winston of London, Kentucky; a grandfather, Ivan Prince of Scottsburg, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs, Backfire, Trixie, Sprocket and Blackie. Memorial Contributions: To the family c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.

Funeral Service: 11:00 am Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Collins Funeral Home with Pastor James Donahue officiating. Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Tuesday and after 9 am Wednesday. Interment will be in Lexington Cemetery.
