Jim Hutton, 70, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Scott Memorial Hospital. He was born on August 8, 1947 in Seymour, Indiana, the son of the late Kenneth Hutton and Geneva Bowman. Jim was married on January 31, 1965 to Betty Roberts. He was a retired employee of the old Holm Industries in Scottsburg, Indiana, where he worked for 20 years. Jim was also a former employee of the old Talon Company in Seymour, Indiana and enjoyed working outside and in his shop at home. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lilly Bowman. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Betty Hutton; two daughters, Emma Carey (James) and Cella Hutton all of Scottsburg, Indiana; five sons, Jimmy Hutton (Angie) and Richard Hutton (Holly Helton) all of Scottsburg, Indiana, Bill Hutton (Angela) of Connersville, Indiana, Gary Hutton and Tom Roberts both of Scottsburg, Indiana; two brothers, Carl Reynolds of Indiana and Junior Reynolds of Texas; two sisters, Jan Williams (Jake) of Knightstown, Indiana and LeAnn Reynolds of Louisville, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Sarah, Aarika, Sam and Jackson Hutton, Stephen and Caitlyn Carey. Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Corder officiating. Visitation: 11 am to 2 pm Tuesday at Collins Funeral Home. Interment will be in New Frankfort Cemetery near Austin, Indiana
