Jonathan David Deaton, 42, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on February 18, 1974 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of David and Kathern (Lewis) Deaton. Jonathan was a construction worker and formerly worked for Munich Welding in Jeffersonville, Indiana and enjoyed working with his hands and building things. Survivors include a son, Zackary David Deaton of Scottsburg, Indiana; his parents, David and Kathern Deaton of Scottsburg, Indiana; a brother, Joseph Dale Deaton of Scottsburg, Indiana; four sisters, Michelle Gary and her husband Rob of Nabb, Indiana, Billie Jo Beach and her husband Michael of Haskill, Tennessee, Angela Deaton and her husband(Dale Robbins and Sonja Ray and her husband Kenny all of Scottsburg, Indiana and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
