Kenneth George “Kenny” King

Kenneth George “Kenny” King, 75, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on April 22, 1943 in Palmyra, Indiana, the son of the late George King and Opal (Davis) King. Kenny graduated from Pekin Eastern High School in 1964. He was a retired service technician at Carman Industries in Jeffersonville, Indiana, where he worked for over 30 years. Kenny also had worked at the old Jeff Boat in Jeffersonville, Indiana, was a co-owner of the old Iron Kettle in Gentryville, Indiana and never lost his passion for feeding and cooking for people. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Scottsburg, Indiana. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles King. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Brenda G. (Cornelius) King; two daughters, Dianna L. Gaddis and husband Greg and Debbie L. Sandlin and husband Brady all of Scottsburg, Indiana; two brothers, Tom King of Brandenburg, Kentucky and Fred King and wife Rita of Jeffersonville, Indiana; two sisters, Martha Baldwin of Louisville, Kentucky and Alice King of Sellersburg, Indiana; five grandchildren, Sierra Robertson, Ashton Robertson, Autumn Sandlin, Cody Gaddis and Shelby Sandlin and three great grandchildren, Taylyn, Jase and Raylee Salyers. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.

My sympathy to Kenny's family. Looking forward to the time we see our loved ones again. He had much to be proud of in his beautiful family and all he gave to Jehovah's organization.
