Kenneth R. “Kenny” Hemmingway, Sr., 63, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at his residence. He was born on April 7, 1952 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of the late Donald August Hemingway and Sallie Irene (Napier) Williams. Kenny was a former laborer for Temple & Temple Construction, the old International Harvester in Louisville, Kentucky and Baldwin Recycling in Scottsburg, Indiana, was a Christian and served in the Indiana Army National Guard for 10 years. Survivors include his companion, Ella Wray-Harbold of Scottsburg, Indiana; two sons, Scotty Hemmingway (Erica) and Kenneth Ray Hemmingway, Jr. (Janie Griffin) all of Salem, Indiana; two daughters, Bobbie Jo Hudgens (Jeff) of Salem, Indiana and Jennifer S. Mudd (Kenneth) of Jeffersonville, Indiana; two brothers, Roy Hemingway of Charlestown, Indiana and Gary Hemingway of Little York, Indiana; a sister, Edith Morrison of Vero Beach, Florida; seven grandchildren, Synthia Ridener, Damon, Kennen, Daisha, Erica, Chasity and Chelsie Hemmingway and two great grandchildren, Ayiana and Elaina.

Funeral Service:
1:00 pm Monday, March 21, 2016 at Collins Funeral Home with burial in Scottsburg Cemetery.
Visitation:
10 am to 1 pm Monday at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
