Kevin Charles “Kegger” Howard, 52, of Austin, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Scott Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 10, 1963 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son Clell Howard Jr. and Helen Meadows. Kevin was a former laborer the old Techne Engineering and the old Safety Storage both in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was a member of ABATE, Son of the Legionnaires, Scott County VFW Men’s Auxiliary and the Scott County Conservation Club. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Clell Howard, Jr.; a brother, Marvin Fox and a sister, Rhonda Fox. Survivors include his wife, Shirley R. (Vernon) Howard three stepsons, Adam and Isaac Robinson both of Austin, Indiana and Luke Robinson of Scottsburg, Indiana; his mother, Helen Meadows of Scottsburg, Indiana; four sisters, Sonja Elliott of Crothersville, Indiana, Teresa Ingram and Shirley Fox both of Scottsburg, Indiana and Angela K. Runtz of Las Vegas, Nevada; a brother, Jamie Howard of Lawrenceburg, Indiana and several nieces and nephews that he loved like his own children.
