Leatrice Imogene “Jeanie” Pruitt, 83, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born on March 16, 1935 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late William “Bill” Bright and Gladys (Cox) Bright. Jeanie worked at the G.E. Appliance Park for about 10 years, the old Charlestown Ammunition Plant for several years, had been a caregiver for the elderly and was a member of the Scottsburg Wesleyan Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Faye Jaynes and Donna Darlene Bright and two brothers, Wayne and Richard Donald Bright. Survivors include three sons, Gregory Wycoff of Maysville, Oklahoma, Jackie Wycoff of Madison, Indiana and Steve Pruitt of Kingston, Tennessee; a daughter, Debra Borders of Scottsburg, Indiana; a sister, Patty Lykins of Scottsburg, Indiana; three brothers, William Bright, Jr., Jerry Bright and Roger Bright all of Scottsburg, Indiana; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
