Levi Noel, 92, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Scott Memorial Hospital.  He was born on October 12, 1921 in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, the son of the late Ellis Noel and Hattie (Barber) Miller.  Levi was a retired employee of American Air Filter Company in Louisville, Kentucky, a farmer and a U.S. Army veteran of W.W. II.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolly Hazel Noel; a sister, Virginia Humphrey and a brother, Asa Noel.  Survivors include a son, Gilbert Noel of Lexington, Indiana; a daughter, Alice Smith and her husband Earl of Lexington, Indiana; a sister Alice Heath of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Tammy Reynolds, Dion Grider, Jeff, Shawn and Kevin Noel and Leslie Boysen; thirteen great grandchildren, Dylan, Desiree, Kaitlin, Logan, Kristen, Cameron, Derek, Whitney, Lucas, Bailey, Grace, Lilly and Kody and three great grandchildren, Brennan, Lilly and Coleman.    Online condolences: www.collinsfuneralhome.net
