Marcella H. Hamilton, 96, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus. She was born on October 14, 1919 in Scott County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Frank and Anna May (Elliott) Hants. Marcella was a former employee of Morgan Packing Company in Austin, Indiana and the old Smith Cabinet Factory and attended the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. “Bill” Hamilton on Dec. 14, 2005 and a stepdaughter, Joyce Hamilton. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
