Mary Catherine “Cathy” Trollinger, 64, of Princeton, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Deaconess Hospital Downtown in Evansville, Indiana. She was raised in the communities of Scottsburg and Austin where most of her family continues to live. Cathy also lived in Louisville for some time, where she was a member and on staff at the Moose Lodge. Ironically her nickname was “Moose”, which is believed to have been started by her brother calling her “stubborn as a moose”. Cathy loved to laugh and joke around and for those who were lucky enough to be around her know that she had a very distinctive laugh. She was a fierce friend who regularly stayed in touch by phone and kept the letters and cards of all those she cared about. She also had a fiery side that no one ever wanted to cross. In addition to visiting her friends and family she also liked to indulge in the Lotto scratchers and oddly her favorite snack was crackers. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Thelma (Oaks) Page; two sisters, Patricia Bateman and Carolyn Sue Wilson and a brother, Elmer Gibson. Survivors include a brother, Bill Gibson of Scottsburg, Indiana and several generations of nieces and nephews. Online condolences:www.collinsfuneralhome.net.

Graveside Service: 2:30 PM on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Oaks Cemetery near Austin, Indiana. Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg entrusted with the arrangements.

I sure am going to miss my friend. Our friendship spanned over four decades. She was more my sister than a friend. Rest in peace Moose and know that I will always remember you.
