Mary L. Williams, 69, of Austin, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on December 25, 1946 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late Harry E. and Mattie (Combs) Richardson. Mary was a retired cook from Austin High School and also a former employee of the old Beta Shoe Factory in Salem, Indiana. She graduated from Austin High School, was a member of the Austin Christian Church and the Ida Rebekah Lodge. Mary enjoyed quilting, camping, cooking and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Benny Richardson. Survivors include her husband, Lowell Williams; a daughter, Lora Sobczak (Mike) of Scottsburg, Indiana; two sons, Hank Williams (Vickie) and Lowell Williams, Jr. (Dynasty) all of Austin, Indiana; a sister, Betty Richardson of Austin, Indiana; a brother, Paul Richardson (Carol) of Seymour, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Michael Wells (Ashley), Samantha Wells, Leeza Stidham (Matthew), Trevor Stidham, Tiffany and Nate Williams, David Hall and Abby Burton and seven great grandchildren, MyKenzi, Koltyn, Wyatt, Malaki, Harley, Joann and April.
