Muriel E. Case, 82, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus. She was born on April 27, 1937 in Garrett, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Thomas Miller and Effie (Dotson) Miller. Muriel was a former employee of the old Western Auto and Baringers Floral Shop both in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was a member of the Lexington Christian Church, enjoyed scrap booking and rock hunting. In addition to her parents, Muriel was preceded in death by her husband, Alford N. Case, Jr. and a brother, Wendell Miller. Survivors include two sons, Jeff Case and his wife Nancy and Jerry Case all of Scottsburg, Indiana; three brothers, Sherrill and Jack Miller both of Scottsburg, Indiana and Doug Miller of Lexington, Kentucky; a sister, Carol Helton of Bloomington, Indiana; four grandchildren, Stacy, Elaine, Amanda and Lindsey and four great grandchildren, Hannah, Gabriel, Cason and Silas. Memorial Contributions may be given to Cravens Cemetery Association c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.

Funeral Service: 11:00 am on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Collins Funeral Home with Phil LaMaster officiating. Visitation: 10 am to 11 am on Thursday at Collins Funeral Home. Interment will be in Cravens Cemetery.
