Nancy L. Duncan, 77, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at her residence. She was born on April 2, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late George W. Cooper and Elnora P. (Parish) Cooper. Nancy was a retired bookkeeper for Goodin’s, Inc. in Scottsburg, Indiana. She had also worked as a bookkeeper for Bumper to Bumper Salvage in Blocher, Indiana and the old Richey & Stewart Trucking Company in Scottsburg, Indiana. Nancy was a member of the Vienna Baptist Church, the Happy Homemakers of Jennings County, the Scott County Humane Society, where she served as the coordinator of the Snip Clinic and known as the Cat Lady, the Book Club of Scott County and Friends of the Library. She loved animals, enjoyed crocheting and working puzzles. Nancy was preceded in death by the father of her children, Lynn Duncan and her ex-husband, Gene Arbuckle.Survivors include her daughter, Suzanna G. “Suzie” Duncan of Scottsburg, Indiana; her son, Dale L. Duncan of El Cajon, California; a sister, Gale A. Fettig of Seymour, Indiana and three grandsons, Derrick, Jonathon and Joseph. Funeral Service: 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Collins Funeral Home with Marsha Jenkins, officiating. Visitation: 1 to 3 PM Sunday at Collins Funeral Home with cremation requested following her services.
