Paul W. Heilman, 84, of Scottsburg, Indiana, formerly of North Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Scott Villa Living Center. He was born in Charlestown, Indiana, the son of the late Carl William Heilman Sr. and Elsa  (Hunt) Heilman.   Paul was a retired truck driver for the Indiana State Highway Department in North Vernon, Indiana, where he worked for 30 years.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Sadie Lou (Stull) Heilman; four sisters, Alice Sherfick, Margaret Caldwell, Annie Thalacker and Martha Perry; a granddaughter, Danna Lynn Heilman and a son-in-law, Larry Cowan. Survivors include three daughters, Roberta (Herman) Burton of Columbus, Indiana, Janie (Steve) Bauer of Phoenix, Arizona and Brenda Cowan of Scottsburg, Indiana;  two sons, Paul D. (Sharon) Heilman of Scottsburg, Indiana and Scott A. Heilman of North Vernon, Indiana;  five sisters, Mildred Doogs of Ohio, Shirley Masingo of Charlestown, Indiana, Thelma Gellhouse, Betty Emily and Margie Bear all of North Vernon, Indiana; two brothers, Carl W.
