Phyllis Ann Reardon, 78, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on April 26, 1937 in Scott County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Robert Theodore Ely and Anna Marie (Hobbs) Ely.  Phyllis was a retired cook for Scottsburg Middle School, where she worked for 37 years, was a member of the First Baptist Church and enjoyed gatherings with family and friends.   In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Lynn Reardon.  Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Charles L. Reardon; two daughters, Lori C. Embry and her husband Russ and Tami Shouse all of Scottsburg, Indiana; a brother, Robert G. “Bob” Ely of Scottsburg, Indiana; two sisters, Joyce Petty and Rita Masnick both of Scottsburg, Indiana and a grandson, Joseph Courtney.
