Ricky Glenn Cole, 53, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on June 12, 1964 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of the late Hargis Cole and Ida Mae (Crawford) Cole. Rick was a mechanic for Jacobi Sales in Sellersburg, Indiana, where he worked with Jay and a family of co-workers. He was a Christian and found comfort and peace in his faith. Rick loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and family. He really enjoyed working on tractors and going to yard sales and estate sales always looking for unique items he could collect. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, two brothers, David “Timmy” Cole and Wendell Ray Cole and two sisters, Mildred K. Brown and Brenda Cole. Survivors include the mother of his two daughters, Angel Burke of Charlevoix, Michigan; his daughters, Erica and Audrey Cole both of Traverse City, Michigan; his four grandchildren that he referred to as papaw’s babies, Chandler, Emma, Payton and Ellianna Hansen; eight brothers, Jesse Fairrell Hall and Larry Cole both of Scottsburg, Indiana, Terry, Donnie and Jerry W. Cole all of Austin, Indiana, Gary and Denny G. Cole both of Lexington, Indiana and Douglas H. Cole of Richmond, Kentucky; three sisters, Christine Robbins and Sharon Morris both of Scottsburg, Indiana and Donna Begley of Austin, Indiana and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Contributions: To his family to help with final expenses c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. .

Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. A Celebration of Rick's Life will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Brown officiating. His family will receive friends from 10 am to 12 noon Saturday at Collins Funeral Home.
