I first met Rick in the late '90s when he came to work in the office at Tinker AFB. He was a good friend/co-worker. I continued to know him after my retirement through church and periodic visits. I never thought I would be writing this at his young age. I will plan to see him again one day when we both have those bodies that will last forever.

Rick told me in High School even before our Senior year that he was going to join the Air Force. He planned on that being his career and was passionate when he spoke of it. He did just that! I thought he had one of the best Jobs while in High School. He worked at Lon's Donuts here in Scottsburg. It's still a local favorite! As with many high school friends we never saw each other much after Graduation. He is one that stayed on my mind over the years. I found him on FACEBOOK a few years ago. I saw his pic and immediately knew it was him! Rick was a great guy in school as I'm sure he has been throughout his life. My condolences to his family and many friends. I hope to be at Visitation Friday.

My prayers are with you and your family , Teresa. At first I wasn't sure I knew Rick, but I found his sophomore photo with the Class of 1978 and it was instant recognition. You can all be rightly proud of his life and his many accomplishments. Bless you all. Ron
