Robert Campbell

Robert Earl Campbell, Sr., 84, of Lexington, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Wolfe County, Kentucky, the son of the late Elvin Campbell and Ida (Adams) Campbell. Robert was a retired field supervisor for the old Kelly & Wilmore Company from January 1955 to Nov. 1994 and a former truck driver for the old Lucas Brothers Paving from 1995 to 2007. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Goldie Misamore Campbell on May 8, 1976; a son, Ronnie Campbell; three brothers, Charlie, Orville and Roy Campbell and three sisters, Edna Linkous, Lula O’Hair and Ethel Culbertson. He was married on Sept. 26, 1976 to Margaret Helen (Gammon) Campbell, who survives. In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by three sons, Robert E. Campbell, Jr. of Scottsburg, Indiana, Ricky Campbell (Debbie) of Madison, Indiana and Carl Campbell (Lisa) of Hilliard, Ohio; four daughters, Janet Griffith (James) of Scottsburg, Indiana, Carol Gullett (Jim) of Columbus, Indiana, Kathy Parrott (Allen) of Hope, Indiana and Debra Campbell (Crady) of New Ross, Indiana; three stepdaughters, Rhonda Smith (Craig) of Salem, Indiana, Cheryl Callahan (Kenny) of Scottsburg, Indiana and Tammy Bauernfiend of Austin, Indiana; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Funeral Service:
1:00 pm Saturday, January 23, 2016 at
Collins Funeral Home with burial in Scottsburg Cemetery.

Visitation:
4 to 8pm Friday and after 9 am Saturday.
