Roman Floyd Gasser, 88, of Little York, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Meadow View Health & Rehab Center in Salem, Indiana. He was born on October 1, 1927 in Washington County, Indiana, the son of the late Joseph Gasser and Magdalena (Pinsch) Gasser. Roman was a retired truck driver for Morgan Foods in Austin, Indiana, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a former member of the Crothersville VFW Post # 1083. He was preceded in death by four brothers, George H., Nelson, Merrill and Erich Gasser and a sister, Natalie Thompson. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Jean Gasser; a daughter, Cindy Gettelfinger of Indianapolis, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service:
11:00 am Friday, April 29, 2016
at Collins Funeral Home with burial in Franklin Cemetery near Salem, Indiana.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Thursday and after 10 am Friday
