Ron Murphy, 47, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at his residence. He was born January 6, 1967 in Tucson, Arizona, the son of John Darrell Murphy and Carolyn Ann Payne. Ron was married July 26, 2013 to Susan Renae (Garriott) Murphy, who survives. He was a former heavy equipment operator for Flynn Brothers Contracting in Louisville, Kentucky for almost 10 years and he loved to hunt with his buddies. Survivors include his wife, Susan Renae (Garriott) Murphy; a daughter, Alexandria Bunker of Austin, Indiana; a son, Jeffery Dwayne Jewett of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Father & Stepmother, John & Judy Murphy of Tucson, Arizona; Mother, Carolyn Payne of Tucson, Arizona; three brothers, Rodney Murphy of Florida, Randall & Rusty Murphy of Tucson, Arizona; two sisters, Robbie Quillon of Indiana & Rhena Murphy of Wisconsin; two grandchildren, Aurora & William Lee; several step brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
