Ruby Jane Yates, 82, of Henryville, Indiana, passed away on December 8, 2016 at her residence. She was born on July 12, 1934 in Ironton, Ohio, the daughter of the late John Henry and Marie (Campbell) Justice. Ruby was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Clark County, Indiana. She was married on July 31, 1953 to Roy Dallas Yates, who preceded her in death on January 17, 2014. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Timothy A. Yates; a sister, Mabel Yates; a brother, James Justice and a granddaughter, Heather Fortney. Survivors include her two sons: Andy and Richard (Patti Belviy)  Yates, both of Charlestown, Indiana; 12 grandchildren, Tabatha Woods, Shannon Ross, Tony, Rebecca Jane, Bobbie Jo, Ricky, Michael and Jonathan Yates, Wendy Osborne, Sharon Chapman, Jonathan and Christopher Belviy and 22 great grandchildren, Gabby, Cody, Hannah, Ellie, Cameron, Davy, Hunter, Jacob, Summer, Amy, Kayla, Tessa, Dallas, Nathan, Emily, Cameron, Morgan, Hayden, Austin, Dillon, Lanny and Tristen. Interment will be in Lexington Cemetery in Lexington, Indiana.
