Ruth L. Quandt, 63, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017 at her residence. She was born on February 5, 1954 in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of the late William DeGrandchamp and Betty (Buell) DeGrandchamp. Ruth was a retired from Genesis Plastics in Scottsburg, Indiana where she worked for 20 years and also had worked at Long John Silvers. She loved to cook and spend time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings. Survivors include a daughter, Brandy Bowling of Scottsburg, Indiana; a son, Jason R. Quandt of Port Huron, Michigan; two sisters, Cathy Waiters of Caseville, Michigan and Susan Noll of Kentucky and two granddaughters, Kelsey Taylor and Kimberly Quandt.
