Seldon Helton, 75, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Lake Pointe Village in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on July 30, 1941 in Leslie County, Kentucky, the son of the late Wick Helton and Macy (Bowling) Helton. Seldon was retired from Regal Insulation in Crothersville, Indiana. He loved dirt track racing, NASCAR and playing Euchre. He was preceded in death by a son, James Helton; three brothers, James Edward, Kenneth and Curtis Helton and four sisters,  Ora Piet, Lillie Dean, Marcheta Spencer and Marie Rose. Survivors include two sons, John Helton (Ashley) and Eric Helton (Missy) all of Scottsburg, Indiana; a daughter, Teresa Couch (Shane) of North Vernon, Indiana; two sisters, Bernice Osborne of Phoenix, Arizona and Sharon Rea of Holton, Indiana; three brothers Donald and Randy Helton both of Lexington, Indiana and Ernest Helton of Kent, Indiana; eleven grandchildren, Brad and Brandy Williams, Jason, Jenny, Jared, Ethan, Kara and Nathan Helton, Rebecca Acuna, Beverly Robbins and Devin Helton and six great grandchildren.
