Stanley L. “Stan” Keach, 73, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on September 27, 1942 in New Albany, Indiana, the son of the late Dudley A. Keach, Sr. and Louise Mae (Sisson) McCowan. Stan was a retired independent truck driver, also drove for Big G Transportation in Jeffersonville, Indiana for about 16 years and a US Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Stanley Keach, Jr.; four brothers, Dudley “Butch” Keach, Jr., Larry and Donnie Keach and Ronnie McCowan and a sister, Avis Brantley. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Carrie G. (Stoner) Keach; four sons, Scott Keach of Scottsburg, Indiana, Jerry Dale Keach (Traci) of Charlestown, Indiana; Michael and Jeffery Keach both of Brunswick, Georgia; two daughters: Trish Towne (Don) of Scottsburg, Indiana and Margaret Gist of Brunswick, Georgia; six brothers, Duane and Larry McCowan both of New Albany, Indiana, Terry McCowan of Palmyra, Indiana, Donnie McCowan of Sellersburg, Indiana, Rick Haven (Kay) of Scottsburg, Indiana and Brian Keach of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; three sisters, Becky Napier of Madison, Indiana, Kay Staser of New Albany, Indiana and Sheri Johnson of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral Service:
12:00 Noon Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Collins Funeral Home with burial in Scottsburg Cemetery.

Visitation:
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Monday and after 9 am Tuesday.
