Tomas Hale Green,17, of Hampstead, North Carolina, formerly of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. He was born on February 12, 1999 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Tomas was an employee of Hardees in Hampstead, North Carolina and a Junior at Topsail High School also in Hampstead, North Carolina, where he was in the Honors Program taking advanced classes. He was a handsome boy with a good sense of humor and loved to make people laugh, he had a heart of gold and had goals of joining the Army and becoming an engineer. Survivors include his mother, Betty Green of Hampstead, North Carolina; a brother, Hayden Lewis Green of Hampstead, North Carolina; his father, Jason Stepp of New Albany, Indiana; his biological father, Irvin Hawman of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; grandparents, Russell and Rebekah Green of Milltown, Indiana, Larry and Nancy Stepp of Clarksville, Indiana and Nigel Hawman of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; two aunts, Kimberly Green of Los Angeles, California and Aerial Hawman of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; two uncles, Daniel McFadden of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky and Gene McFadden of Milltown, Indiana and his best friend, Clayton Hallsen.
