Wendy Lynn Eads, 36, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Scott Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 22, 1981 in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Mark Allen Hays and JoAnna Marie (Symmes) Hughes. Wendy was a former cashier at Save-A-Lot in Scottsburg, Indiana for about two years and also worked at the old Derby Packaging in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was also a member of Kimberlin Creek Baptist Church. Wendy was preceded in death by her husband, David Scott Eads; grandparents, John Symmes and John and Phyllis Hays. Survivors include a son, Trenton Bowling of Lexington, Indiana; a daughter, Kaley Bowling of Henryville, Indiana; mother and stepfather, JoAnna Hughes (Robert C., II) of Lexington, Indiana; her father, Mark Allen Hays of Eagle Rock, Missouri; a brother, Cory Michael Hays of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; a stepbrother, Robert Hughes, III of Scottsburg, Indiana and her grandmother, JoAn Azure of Nabb, Indiana. Online condolences:www.collinsfuneralhome.net.

Funeral Service: 11:00 am Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Johns officiating. Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Friday and after 10 am Saturday at Collins Funeral Home. Cremation was requested following service with private inurnment in Scottsburg Cemetery at a later date.
