William Kenneth “Stuts” Stutsman

William Kenneth “Stuts” Stutsman, 95, of Scottsburg, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 31, 2016 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus. He was born on July 14, 1921 in Kent, Indiana, the son of the late Oliver A. and Etta E. (Gray) Stutsman. Kenny was a resident of Scott County since 1950. He graduated from Madison High School in 1938 and then earned his degree from Indiana University in 1942. Kenny was drafted after graduation and sent to serve in England as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WW II. He was retired Manager, CEO and Director from the Scottsburg Building and Loan, where he worked for 36 years. Kenny was also former owner and operator of the old Stutsman Real Estate Company, was a Certified Public Accountant, Tax Accountant and a certified Real Estate Appraiser. He was a member of the Scottsburg United Methodist Church, a member of Gideons International and a former member of Scottsburg Kiwanis Club for 25 years. Kenny always had great enthusiasm for life and was a great encourager. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, C. Everett and Foster Stutsman. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, E. Loretta (Williams)Stutsman; three sons Kenneth Allen Stutsman and his wife Beth of Jeffersonville, Indiana, James M. Stutsman of Charlestown, Indiana and Dr. John Stutsman and his wife Rachel of Indianapolis, Indiana; two daughters, Linda S. Moenning and her husband Willie of Scottsburg, Indiana and Rebecca S. Stutsman of Louisville, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral Service: 11:00 am on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016 at Scottsburg United Methodist Church with burial in Scottsburg Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home and after 10 am Thursday at Scottsburg United Methodist Church. Memorial Contributions: Gideons International c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.

11:00 am on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016 at Scottsburg United Methodist Church with burial in Scottsburg Cemetery.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home and after 10 am Thursday at Scottsburg United Methodist Church.
