Agnes D. Amos, 78, of Scottsburg, Indiana, died on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Clark Memorial Hospital. She born on January 7, 1936 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Gretna (Cochran) Bush. Agnes was a former beautician, also a former Nurses Aide for the old William’s Manor Nursing Home and a member of the First Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester J. Amos; a son, Gerald Amos and a brother, Roy Bush. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah C. Amos of Ventura, California; a son, Donald L. Amos of Scottsburg, Indiana; a sister, Dorothy Hall of Scottsburg, Indiana and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: 12:00 noon Friday at First Christian Church
with burial in the Scottsburg Cemetery.
